The other day, one of my favorite actors apparently went all batshit crazy on some poor art director who happened to walk onto the set while they were filming Terminator 4. Whoopi says Mr. Bale was justified because 'it's so hard to stay in character,' but I don't know. I don't think it's ever ok to dress someone down in public. And. If you're really good at your job, shouldn't it be kind of easy to get and stay in character? You'd have to do it every day regardless.
It's always a little distressing to me when I find out that someone who I think is talented is, in reality, a huge d-bag. I think fame just turns some people into a-holes.
