am i the only one who was unaware?

Did you guys know that there was universe before our universe? And that its implosion is most likely what caused ours? That's crazy talk, right? Right?

I think most physics theorists are high on their own metaphors, and mistake looking at their models with different values in the variables for actual evidence. But when real evidence comes along, it often suggests even crazier things than the models do...

Yeah, I "knew" that... but only in the same limited way I "know" anything that any physicist after Newton was talking about.
